Richard's Specialists Cars provide a welcoming personal services supplying and servicing high quality prestige cars in Cornwall. All vehicles have a full service, a professional valet, 12 month MOT, and a parts and labour warranty which are extendable up to three years. A certificate from HPi guaranteeing that your car is free from accident or outstanding hire purchase is provided to you at delivery.

A FULL SERVICE

The first thing we do when a new used car arrives is give it a full 114 point RAC inspection dealing with any defects that we may find. This provides you with total peace of mind and you can be sure that when you return next year for your MOT test and service that you will not be presented with a large bill. We fully service our cars; most garages just do an oil and filter.

BODY WORK

Your new car should look like new. You wouldn’t go to a BMW Porsche or Mercedes dealership and expect to see a car covered in stone chips or scuffed alloy wheels. Unfortunately most used cars these days have minor scuffs and chips. This is quite normal but can be put right. Most garages won’t do it because it costs too much money. Here at Richards we attend to all of these problems so you can be proud of your new car. Anyone who has dealt with Richard Dolman will tell you how fussy he is. All of our used cars are beautifully presented.

VALETING EXTERIOR & INTERIOR

All of our cars are professionally valeted by Nigel Martin who has recently joined us from the well known Riders Group where he won a national award for valeting. Nigel uses Auto Glym products on all of our cars. If your car hasn’t had a valet for a while please ask Nigel who will be happy to quote you for a professional valet at a fixed price. He will amaze you at how good he can make your car look. It will actually add value to your car!

WARRANTIES AND AFTER SALES WORK

We have been using CAR CARE PLAN warranties for over ten years and we believe them to be one of the better warranty companies in the market place. They are RMI (Retail Motor Industry Federation Approved) and have a dealer client base including:- INCHCAPE, VOLVO, NISSAN, ASTON MARTIN, SAAB, SKODA, JAGUAR, LAND ROVER, FIAT, MITSUBISHI, VAUXHALL RENAULT to name just a few. All our cars come with A CARE CAR PLAN WARRANTY, and in the unlikely event that your car breaks down we can carry out repairs at our workshops and lend you our courtesy car.

HPI VEHICLE CHECKS

When you buy a car from us you will be given a HPI Certificate which means that we have checked your car’s registration and chassis number with a central data base linked with the DVLA and Police. This protects you by ensuring that your car has not been involved in any accident and is free from finance.

Customers have arrived from Bristol in just two hours, and London in four hours. Alternatively we can offer a free collection service from Newquay Airport just 15 miles away. Alternatively and more frequently we find that more of our customers purchase their cars from us without coming to Cornwall.
